Securitas is a global leader in security services, operating in over 40 countries with a workforce of more than 350,000 employees. Given the nature of their business, Securitas has an ongoing, high-volume hiring need, particularly for security personnel. Thanks to a strong employer brand, Securitas attracts thousands of applicants every month. While this is a great advantage, it also presents a challenge inefficiently identifying the most relevant candidates without delays or overlooking top talent.

Traditionally, recruiters manually screened applications, a time-consuming process that often led to bottlenecks. Recognizing the potential of AI-driven solutions, Securitas Sweden turned to Hubert to evaluate the impact on efficiency and fairness in their hiring process.

Securitas Sweden recruits an average of around 2,000 candidates every years and traditionally had a recruitment processes that required a lot of time and effort. Therefore, Hubert was an excellent option to investigate further, to evaluate the impact on efficiency and fairness in their hiring process.

Automating initial candidate screening brought a structured approach and scalability to the selection process, along with significant cost reduction. The implementation of Hubert led to an incredible 75% reduction in screening time while maintaining a highly positive candidate experience, ultimately proving that automation could drive both operational efficiency and engagement.

The Solution

By integrating Hubert into their recruitment process, Securitas Sweden introduced a structured and efficient screening method that ensured a fair and engaging experience for all applicants. Hubert seamlessly integrated with Securitas’ applicant tracking system (ATS) - SmartRecruiters, allowing for a smooth transition into their existing hiring workflow.

How Hubert Works:

1. When a candidate applies for a job, they immediately receive an invitation to complete a structured, AI-driven interview with Hubert.

2. Hubert asks relevant role-based questions in a structured, chat-based format.

3. Responses are evaluated in real time, assessing skills, experience, and situational behavior.

4. The system ranks and shortlists top candidates directly in SmartRecruiters, allowing recruiters to focus on the most qualified applicants.

Candidates responded enthusiastically to the AI-led interviews.
